Brent Lee — Managing Director
Brent holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Master of Business Administration degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium.
Brent has 25 years of petroleum industry experience with Petro-Canada, Saudi Aramco and Suncor Energy.
Brent’s industry experience includes petroleum engineering, strategic planning, business development, international refining joint venture management and crude oil marketing, supply & trading.
From 1997 to 2011, Brent held senior management roles in crude oil marketing & refinery supply, market development and commercial development at Suncor Energy.
Brent has spoken frequently at industry conferences, including the Canadian Heavy Oil Conference in Calgary, the Hart Energy Conference in Beijing and the Canadian Annual Derivatives Conference in Mont Tremblant.
Mike Doma — Managing Director
Mike has a degree in Chemical Engineering and Management as well as a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, both from McMaster University.
Mike spent the first six years of his career in refinery operations — this includes time with Imperial Oil, and as a consultant, where he was involved in operations related project work at refineries across North America.
Mike joined Suncor Energy’s crude oil marketing organization in 2001 where he spent 5 years in a variety of roles including technical support in the marketing of oil sands crude oils, market analysis and business development.
Since 2006, Mike has taken on increasing management responsibilities in several areas including corporate business planning, strategy and M&A activity.
Recently, Mike oversaw various aspects of Suncor’s marketing business including refinery crude oil supply, by-products marketing, pipeline business development and market research.
